Caroline Vore

Caroline Vore

Director of Operations

Caroline is a Florida native, born and raised in Hernando County. Living across from the Brooksville Airport, Caroline spent part of her life on the other side of the gates watching the helicopters and planes take off. While certainly not the first in her family to have dreams of one day becoming a pilot, Caroline is part of the first generation in her family to work on becoming a pilot. As one of Sentinel Service’s student pilots, Caroline can certainly relate to the students as she too works towards her Private Pilot’s License. Caroline holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and has many years of experience leading a team. It is her passion to watch students succeed and progress with their life’s goals while fully cheering them on along the way.

Mark Shriver

Mark Shriver

Assistant Chief Flight Instructor

For Mark, aviation became part of his life as a kid. Taking “Intro flights” on birthdays, those 30 minutes of flying were never long enough it seemed. As a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mark used his love of aviation to work on the F/A-18C Hornets and serve his country. After moving to Florida in 2016, he has been at the Brooksville airport connecting with like-minded aviators and learning everything he can. In 2017 he achieved his CFI and began instructing students. While doing that, he gained an opportunity to fly Learjets around the world as an air ambulance Captain reaching over 40 countries in just 2 and a half years. Now, he joins Sentinel Flight School as our Assistant Chief Flight Instructor bringing his experience and passion for aviation to the community of Hernando County.

Jesse Fox

Jesse Fox

Director of Maintenance

Jesse is a U.S. Air Force veteran, who had goals to work on helicopters and airplanes as early as his high school years. His experience and knowledge began when he joined the Air Force in 1969 and chose his career as engine mechanic. After traveling to multiple countries and building the basis for his career, Jesse left the Air Force in 1973, and accepted a position working for Piper Aircraft until they closed in 1985. Shortly after, Jesse continued to move forward on his path by furthering his education and working on helicopters for the next several years. In 2008, Jesse made Brooksville, FL his home and has remained here since as an employee of Sentinel Services. Jesse strives on doing the best job that he can, making safety the number one priority for himself and the pilots.

Austen Klapka

Austen Klapka

Austin first found his love for flight while taking the ride of his life in an Astra. Shortly after the flight he set his goals to pursue a career in aviation, joining Sentinel Services and becoming one of Sentinel Service’s student pilots. Austin has such a passion and romance for flight and loves to share his reasons for falling in love with it. Simply being up in the sky and having any worries of the real world washed away at the push of the throttle motivates him. Austin can often be found managing our hangar in addition to the fuel farm and spending some of his extra time studying with students.
